Let me tell you something- I love the romance of the mental image that comes to mind when you hear “courthouse wedding.” You picture the grand wooden room and a couple so excited that they just can’t wait another day. Funny thing is- today’s courthouse weddings are very simple, and if you choose they can be little more than filing paperwork with a clerk. Catherine & Luis, however, are not the type to allow something like that to stand. These two are too crazy in love, too happy-goofy-wonderful to accept any less than that dream courthouse wedding. That’s why when the clerk invited Luis to sit he said “no” and they both stood as they recited their vows.
It was romantic, it was wonderful and it was an absolute tear jerker. I had so much fun with these guys starting at the courthouse and then moving to Ulele on the waterfront. I was so happy to be a part of their big day!
